TERMS OF SERVICE - ILLUSTRATIONS

1 | general terms

1.1   Prices are subject to change based on demand.
1.2   I have the right to reject or cancel any order for any reason.

2 | PROCESS AND DELIVERY

2.1   The time it takes to finish your commission varies from 2 weeks to 3 months, depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, and other work.
2.2   Once the piece is finished, you will receive the full-resolution image.
2.3   Note that there is no physical product.

3 |  REVISIONS

3.1   You get 3 rounds of changes on the commissioned piece included in the price.
3.2   A fee will be added if you want something changed on the final drawing -unless a misunderstanding from my side has been made.
3.3   If you wish for me to change something in the drawing you have previously approved, a fee will be charged to change it. The amount of the extra charge depends on the change you want me to make.

4 | COPYRIGHT AND USAGE

4.1  Commercial use:
            4.1.1   The commercial use fee will be agreed upon before work is started. The fee will differ depending on complexity of the work and the magnitude of the project.
            4.1.2   If the artwork is to be used commercially, the buyer must specify so in the request form. The fee will be applied to the final price.
4.2  I, Alan (the artist):
            4.2.1   Reserve the right to cancel and refund any order at any time for any reason.
            4.2.2   Retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.
            4.2.3   Will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork (your characters are still yours, etc.).
            4.2.4   Will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.
            4.2.5   Reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as publications such as art books.
4.3  You (the customer):
            4.3.1   May upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.
            4.3.2   May NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, making prints for selling, etc.).
            4.3.3   May NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist) consent.
            4.3.4   Retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).
            4.3.5   May NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes, unless stated it will be used for such purposes at the time of placing the order and the commercial use fee has been paid.
4.4  The following is considered copyright infringement:
            4.4.1   Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially, unless stated it will be used for such purposes at the time of placing the order and the commercial use fee has been paid.
            4.4.2   Claiming the artwork as your own.
            4.4.3   Altering the artwork without my (the artist) consent.

5 | Cancellation and Refund policy

5.1   The buyer is not allowed a refund once I (the artist) started working on the commission.
5.2   If for any reason I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund.
5.3   If you cancel your order before I started it, you can get a full refund.
5.4   The kill fee for cancelling the commission after work has begun is 50% of the commission’s price. The buyer then receives the work as is.
5.5   If the buyer wishes to cancel the commission after the work has started, the buyer can be issued a refund but agrees to pay the kill fee.

2.1   The time it takes to finish your commission varies from 5 days to 2 months, depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned pieces, as well as the number of emotes/badges, and other work.
2.2   Once the commission is completed, the buyer will get the original 1000px x 1000px 300dpi transparent file of each emote/badge, as well as resized PNG files of each and according to the platform’s guidelines.
2.3   Note that there is no physical product.
